Betting Preview

Rangers v Hibernian
Both Rangers and Hibs have had some disappointing results lately but, while Hibs have been (ultimately unsuccessfully) battling for promotion, Rangers have been able to take their foot off the gas having secured the Championship title over six weeks ago. Despite seemingly taking it easy in the last few games, Rangers finished the season 11 points clear of their nearest rivals and a cup win would earn them qualification for the Europa League next term on their return to the SPL. Hibs have won just six of their last 20 matches in all competitions (D6, L8) and they have lost six of their last nine away from Easter Road (W1, D2).

Crystal Palace v Man Utd
Crystal Palace won just two of their 21 Premier League matches since Christmas (D7, L12) and, although they have reserved their best results for the FA Cup this year, they will arrive at Wembley with more hope than belief. Man Utd, meanwhile, have won eight of their last 11 matches in all competitions (D1, L2) and an FA Cup win on Saturday is their last opportunity to salvage something from another highly disappointing season. Although United have struggled to score goals this season, no Premier League side conceded fewer times. They rarely entertain these days but they have enough quality in their squad to break down Palace's defence and one goal might just be enough.

AC Milan v Juventus
Milan finished the season in seventh place on the Serie A table, 34 points behind champions Juventus. Milan have won just two of their last 11 matches (D4, L5). Juventus, meanwhile, have won 29 of their last 32 domestic matches (D1, L2) and they are hoping to become the first Italian side to complete back-to-back domestic doubles having ended the season nine points clear at the top of the Serie A table. Juventus have won every one of the last eight meetings between these two sides.

WIN DOUBLE

Brighton to beat Sheff Wed (Mon 7.45pm),
Olympiacos to beat AEK Athens (Tue 6.30pm)

The double is available at odds in excess of 3/1 with Betfred.

Brighton v Sheff Wed
Brighton finished the regular season 15 points ahead of Sheffield Wednesday on the Championship league table but their 2-0 defeat at Hillsborough has left them with a difficult task to keep their promotion hopes alive. They do, however, have reason to remain optimistic. Brighton have won 15 of their 20 home matches this season (D2, L3 - with all three defeats coming in an unhappy period one week either side of Christmas). No Championship side scored more goals than Brighton and they have conceded a total of just three goals in their last seven home games (scored 17). Wednesday were also reliant on their home form to get them into the play-offs this season. Away from Hillsborough they have won just four of their last 18 matches in all competitions (D6, L8). They can afford to lose by one goal on Monday and, on that basis, odds of 5/4 seem generous for a home win.

Olympiacos v AEK Athens
Olympiacos finished the season 30 points clear of their nearest rivals on the Greek Super League table. They have won every one of their last 10 domestic matches, scoring a total of 34 goals in the process and conceding just four. AEK Athens, meanwhile, have won just two of their last seven (D2, L3) and, despite playing this Cup Final on their home ground, they will have their work cut out against a side that sits head and shoulders above the rest in the country. A number of cancellations and delays have been somewhat farcical in the Greek Cup this season but, with the game scheduled to go ahead on Tuesday, Olympiacos will be confident of securing a second successive League and Cup Double. Their season will end on Tuesday but AEK's concentration will turn to the Champions League playoffs along with Panathinaikos, PAOK and Panionios.

Betting Preview

Man Utd v Bournemouth
Fifth-placed Man Utd need to win on Sunday to stand any chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season. They could even finish as low as seventh and miss out on European football altogether if Liverpool win the Europa League. They will be keen to extend their 10-match unbeaten run at Old Trafford (W7, D3) ahead of next weekend's FA Cup Final at Wembley. United have the best defensive record in the division at home this season. Bournemouth have lost five of their last seven matches (W1, D1) and, having secured their survival in the top-flight, manager Eddie Howe is expected to rotate his squad for the trip to Old Trafford on the final day of the Premier League season.

Swansea v Man City
Swansea have hit form at the end of the season but, with a mid-table finish guaranteed, they are expected to rest several players ahead of Euro 2016 this Summer. They are currently 19 points behind Man City on the Premier League table. Man City need at least a point on Sunday to confirm their place in the Champions League play-offs next season. The quality in their squad should really have secured that long ago and it should also be enough to beat an under-strength Swansea side with nothing to play for. Man City have won every one of their last five meetings with Swansea. Sergio Aguero has scored in each of his last six Premier League matches and, with the Golden Boot still a possibility, he could secure three important points for Man City on Sunday.

Wednesday were also reliant on their home form to get them into the play-offs this season. Away from Hillsborough they have won just four of their last 18 matches in all competitions (D6, L8). They can afford to lose by one goal on Monday and, on that basis, odds of 11/8 seem generous for a home win.
