Eintracht Frankfurt v FC Ingolstadt
Eintracht Frankfurt are flying high in third place on the Bundesliga table, largely thanks to an unbeaten home run which stretches back to April 2016 (W8, D3). They have conceded just one goal in their last five home games (scored eight) and they will fancy their chances of extending their unbeaten record against an Ingolstadt side that sits just one place above the very bottom of the table. Away from home, Ingolstadt have won just two league matches in their last 24 attempts (D6, L16) and they have scored a total of just 15 goals along the way. Odds of 11/10 seem generous for the home win on Saturday.
Hoffenheim v SV Darmstadt
Hoffenheim are currently sitting in fifth place on the Bundesliga table, just one point behind third-placed Frankfurt. Like Frankfurt, Hoffenheim are very strong at home, losing just once in over a year (W10, D6, L1) including, most recently, the 4-0 victory over Mainz. Hoffenheim will fancy their chances of extending their unbeaten run against a Darmstadt side that has lost every one of their last 10 matches away from home in all competitions. In the process, they have scored a total of just four goals (conceded 23) and they are now three points adrift at the bottom of the table. Having achieved promotion to the Bundesliga last term, Darmstadt's stay in the top-flight seems unlikely to last more than one season.
Tenerife v Almeria
Tenerife are currently sitting in the Spanish Segunda Division promotion playoff positions, 15 places and 13 points above Saturday's opponents, Almeria. Tenerife have not lost a home league game in over a year (W12, D12) and they are seeking a fifth successive home win to nil. Their defensive record is second only to league-leaders Levante while relegation candidates Almeria have scored a disastrous total of two goals in their last 11 matches away from home, collecting just two points from a possible 33 in the process. Almeria's terrible league record on the road extends to just one win in 41 matches in the last two years (D15, L25).
