SATURDAY 20TH OCTOBER
Arsenal failed to score at Carrow Road on Saturday and, as a result, we failed to build on our 28/1 midweek win using Betfred's Goals Galore coupon.

Arsenal was also the only one of our selections to fail in our Premier League 5-fold but, in accordance with Paddy Power's money back special, all losing bets were refunded as only one leg let us down.

SUNDAY 21ST OCTOBER
Sunday's games were a different story altogether. We had a perfect day having correctly tipped up two draws in the games at the Stadium of light and Loftus Road. Sunderland and Newcastle's 1-1 draw landed us a winning tip at 23/10 while the same scoreline between QPR and Everton secured another winner - this time at 5/2.

We also tipped the two-draw double at odds in excess of 10/1 and therefore earned our followers another healthy profit. Well done to those who followed.
SUNDERLAND V NEWCASTLE
Sunderland's only goal threat this season has come in the form of Summer signing Steven Fletcher while Newcastle have not won on the road in their last seven attempts. Tyne-Wear derbies have a habit of ending all square and another draw seems likely this weekend.

The draw can be backed at 23/10 with several bookmakers.

QPR V EVERTON
Everton travel to Loftus Road to face QPR in the 4pm kick-off and they do so without their in-form Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini. The hosts will be looking to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat and a draw on Sunday is perhaps the most likely outcome - one that will keep both managers reasonably content.

Bet Victor offer generous odds of 5/2 for a draw at Loftus Road.

A double with the same bookmaker is available at odds in excess of 10/1 for anyone expecting two Premier League draws.

6th placed Swindon Town should have enough to beat Scunthorpe United on Saturday in League 1 while Fleetwood Town and Port Vale look like the best bets from League 2.

Fleetwood Town to beat AFC Wimbledon and
Port Vale to beat Wycombe

Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal look too good for their respective opponents this weekend and they will all expect to secure relatively straightforward victories against inferior opposition.

The same could be said of Manchester City and we expect them to prevail in their potentially tricky trip to the Hawthorns.

West Ham will unleash a fully-fit Andy Carroll on Southampton's vulnerable defence on Saturday and odds of 10/11 look too good to ignore.

Liverpool to beat Reading,
Manchester United to beat Stoke City,
Arsenal to beat Norwich City,
Manchester City to beat West Bromwich Albion and
West Ham United to beat Southampton.

The 5-fold is available at 8/1 with Paddy Power. If one leg lets you down, Paddy Power will refund your losing bet!

Notts County v Sheff Utd,
Torquay v Yeovil,
Chile v Argentina,
Bury v Carlisle,
Switzerland U21 v Germany U21,
Sweden U21 v Italy U21.

The coupon pays out as follows:

3 correct games = 9/2
4 correct games = 9/1
5 correct games = 16/1
6 correct games = 28/1

Well done to those who followed.

WORLD CUP QUALIFYING 16/10/2012

Czech Republic and Ukraine both slipped up at home and therefore, despite wins for Netherlands, Estonia and Republic of Ireland, our 8/1 fivefold failed.

WORLD CUP QUALIFYING 16/10/2012

We expected over 2.5 goals in each of the games below:

Bosnia Herzegovina v Lithuania,
Belgium v Scotland,
Germany v Sweden.

While there were plenty of goals in Bosnia and Germany, Belgium's 2-0 win over Scotland left us just one goal short of a 9/2 win.

PORT VALE V OXFORD UTD 15/10/2012

Tom Pope, the top scorer in League 2, was the favourite to break the deadlock in Port Vale's game against Oxford on Monday evening but, at 4/1, we saw some excellent value with BetFred. He duly obliged during the home side's 3-0 win.

Well done to those who followed.
