Marseille v Montpellier
Marseille have recovered well after a shaky start to the season and they have won six of their last eight matches in all competitions (D1, L1). Montpellier have also shown signs of improvement after a slow start but they were beaten 2-0 at home to newly-promoted Ajaccio in midweek. They have also won just one of their last nine matches away from home (D3, L5).
Peterborough v Luton
Peterborough are seeking a sixth consecutive win in all competitions and they have scored at least two goals in each of their last eight games. They are the top scorers in League One and they face a Luton side that has lost their last two games, conceding a total of seven goals along the way. Luton are currently sitting in 14th place on the League Two table (32 places behind Peterborough in the Football League).
Carpi v AC Milan
Carpi have only won two of their 14 league matches since earning promotion from Serie B in the Summer (D3, L9). They are currently second from bottom on the Serie A table and they have conceded more goals than any other side in the division. Milan forwards Bacca and Niang will relish the opportunity to face Carpi's defence having looked extremely dangerous in their 4-1 win over Sampdoria last weekend. Milan are beginning to show signs of a return to form having won five of their last seven matches in all competitions (D1, L1).
